How old do you need to be to work at Hollywood Bowl Group?


You must be aged 16 or over to work at one of our centres, or at the Customer Contact Centre. However, you must be aged 18 or over to work in certain roles.

Do you host work experience or university placements?


Work experience is given at the discretion of each individual management team, so we recommend that you pop in to your local centre for a chat. Don’t forget to take your CV!

How do I apply?

Once you’ve found your ideal job, you’ll need to register using the “apply now” link, giving us a few essential details.

You’ll then be logged into our vacancy portal, and can proceed to applying directly for the role. Simply answer a few more short questions within this section and upload your CV to your application when requested.

We will then process your application, and you’ll hear back from us within a short time.

How long will it take to fill in an application?


It depends on the role. For the majority of vacancies, it will only take a few short moments to answer the questions and attach a copy of your CV.

For Team Member positions, we have a Situational Judgement Test as part of the application process. This is made up of 18 multiple choice, customer-service-based questions. On average, this takes around 20 minutes to complete.

How soon will I hear back?


We aim to respond to all applications within 5-7 days. However, due to the volume of applications we receive, this may take a little longer in some cases.

What should I wear to a recruitment event / trial shift?


We always recommend dressing smartly, as you’ll want to look professional – but remember that you may also be bowling and moving around our centre, so make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes. No ties are necessary, but we do request that you don’t wear jeans or trainers.

Who should I contact if I can’t attend the interview/ recruitment event?


If you are unable to attend an interview or event, please get in touch with the recruitment team at your earliest convenience by emailing [email protected].

The recruitment team will be able to liaise with the centre on your behalf, and reschedule, where possible.

Do you hire wheelchair users?


Absolutely, all our centres are wheelchair accessible. You will have the opportunity in your application to make a note of any additional requirements you may have for your interview or placement day.

I haven't been offered an interview. Can I ask for feedback on my application?


Unfortunately, due to the volume of applications we receive, we cannot directly give feedback for every applicant, and are unable to provide feedback on unsuccessful applications.

Will my references be contacted if I am invited to attend an interview?


Although all applicants will be asked to provide reference details at application stage, references will only be sought after the job offer has been made and accepted.

Please also note, all offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references.

How many hours per week will I be contracted for?


All of our management team roles are based on 40-hour week contracts.

Team Member contracts can vary from as little as 4 hours per week to 40 hours per week, depending on the requirements of both the individual and the business.
