technicians- what are we looking for?
If you love all things mechanical and enjoy a bit of DIY, this role might be right up your alley...
As a Technician at one of our Hollywood Bowl or AMF Bowling centres, you’ll be busy behind the scenes solving problems and fixing faults. Throughout the day, you’ll find yourself responding to fault notifications on the lanes to ensure a smooth customer experience, as well as maintaining and repairing tenpin bowling pin-spotting machines, the lanes, the approach areas and other ancillary equipment to the required company standard.
During the quieter moments in the centre, you may even find yourself front of house interacting with our customers and giving them some bowling tips, so be prepared!
Being a technician is fun, fast paced and very varied, and there’s plenty of opportunity to enhance your mechanical skills and develop your leadership qualities on the Chief Technician in Training programme.
To be a successful Technician you’ll be able to demonstrate your practical and mechanical knowledge to us, as well as being:
- On the ball when it comes to spotting and resolving a problem
- Pro-active in your approach by maintaining our equipment to the highest standards
- A friendly, supportive and helpful team player
- Ready and willing to learn - you don't need specific experience in bowling machines, we'll train you to do a great job!
