The Who…
As a E-Kart Technician you will be a highly motivated, hands-on team player who can work alongside our centre team. You’ll ensure all our equipment is maintained to the highest possible standard. You’ll be in charge of keeping the centre maintained and compliant with current regulations. You’ll also be liaising with both the team and the customers about any faults they experience while on the tracks.
You will be given a thorough induction and ongoing training and development to set you up for success, as well as ongoing development and career opportunities, including access to apprenticeship programmes and our in-house management training programmes, should you wish to take the next step in your career.
To be a successful E-kart technician, we’ll want to see:
- Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, automotive maintenance, or a similar technical role
- A practical, hands‑on approach and strong problem‑solving skills
- Confidence working with battery-powered vehicles or electrical systems (training provided if needed)
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a high‑energy team
- Flexible around working times
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck into a varied role
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on all E‑karts to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Performing diagnostics, fault‑finding, and quick repairs to minimise downtime
- Maintaining and monitoring battery systems, charging equipment, and electrical components
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures and maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Liaising with the venue team to support track operations, including kart setup, calibration, and safety checks
- Ordering and managing spare parts and equipment inventory
- Contributing to improvements in efficiency, reliability, and the overall customer experience
