The What...

Our customers and the relationship we have with them is important to us, that's why we're looking for someone with a proven track record in all aspects of managing CRM, Customer Data, and Email Marketing. It is essential you have the technical skills, credibility and experience in a fast-paced e-commerce business that will allow you to continue to drive the business forward at a rapid rate, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels will be key to your success.

To be successful as a CRM and Customer Data Manager, you'll have:

  • Highly numerate (minimum GCSE Maths Grade C/4)
  • Strong understanding of current CRM concepts, strategy and best practice including CDPs, marketing automation, email marketing best practice including deliverability and reputation management, customer data management
  • 3+ years previous experience in a similar role in a fast paced, commercially focused, e-commerce business including line management experience
  • Passion and track record for working with CRM and marketing automation systems and agencies to deliver fantastic customer experiences
  • Good knowledge of third-party reporting tools and analytics platforms including Google Analytics
  • A high degree of data literacy including advance MS Excel skills for routine reporting and analysis
  • Passion for championing the customer and using insights to drive customer experience improvements across the customer journey
  • Experience of using CMS tools and developing and managing CRM content
  • Management of external agencies including CRM, CDP, marketing automation and personalisation, database, design and development
  • Developing content strategies
  • Analysis the effectiveness of initiatives including pre and post evaluations
  • Experience of budget management
  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification or experience

Desirable:

  • Experience of using Bloomreach (Exponea) or similar CDP
  • Good knowledge of and experience in digital marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, search engine optimisation and performance media
  • An understanding of HTML and Jinja
  • Marketing qualification
  • Multi-site e-commerce
